It's a big weekend in Long Beach! Friday night, burlesque superstar Miss Dakota will be presenting her troupe The Burlesque All Stars! Steve Pandis provides the music. Saturday, funky diva Sheila E and the E Family featuring Pete, Juan & Peter Michael Escovedo unleash their salsa flavored funk to what will prove to be the hottest night of the year!! And Sunday, it's the ragtime-y bluegrass of Capt. Jeff And His Musical Chumbuckets. Harvelle's Long Beach is located at 201 E. Harvelles Long Beach : Chumbuckets Are Go!!
Capt Jeffs' Musical Chumbuckets play every Sunday night at Harvelle's in downtown Long Beach. Their eclectic approach and bluegrass-y line-up allow for some fun; a good-time musical evening. Shrouded in Harvelle's speakeasy atmosphere, the club is below street level, just under a fine ale house called The Congregation and provides the right atmosphere for such a unique group.

Capt. Jeff & His Musical Chumbuckets : C'est Chic
On loan from their Sunday night residency at Harvelle's Long Beach, Capt. Jeff & His Musical Chumbuckets brought their ragtime/bluegrass flavor out to greet the people in Santa Monica. Banjo, washboard (and percussion), stand-up bass, acoustic (and electric) guitar and trumpet make up their roster.
