Key Frances : Psycha Blues and Swamp Boogie

Tonight Key Frances gives a blues shot in the arm of live musical performances. Lusting, lying, loving - all parts of Key's world.

Expressing it through biting guitar leads and growling swamp "psycha"-blues hooks, he'll lead you into the cold chill of night that has recently fallen upon us in So. Cal.

Prepare to be baptized, forgiven and justified for digging the blues. This is THE spot. Friday night. Harvelle's. 1432 4th St. in Santa Monica.

J.T. Ross : The Harmonica Boss

J.T. Ross - the harmonica boss - is Chicago born but now a Los Angeleno with his own slant on the blues. Jazzy and swingy with a touch of 50’s rock, J.T. brings his contemporary message to Harvelle's tonight. A mean harpist, J.T. will impress.

Show up ready to dance, drink and have a good time!

Bongo Fury : Strip Tease Beauties & Afro-Samba Music

If it's Tuesday, it must be Bongo Fury! It's where burlesque dancers mix with live Afro-Samba music, sure to inspire and elevate. Walter Davis - the incomparable sax man - leads Asa(drums), Bjorn(bass) and Victor(congas/bongos) through a night full of drinking and dancing.

And the dancers?

Every week, two glamorous beauties perform, at this, the unique-est night in town. These sexy, scantily clad strip-tease artists really deliver! I hesitate to say much more about it, as the secret is getting out, and the club is being increasingly frequented by those needing a night to remember.

Come early, and get a good spot near the stage.

Key Frances : The Monday Night Sessions

Come join us, as Key Frances brings his swamp blues to an intimate setting. Ease your blues or have a hair of the dog from your wild weekend. Give the man some respect and it'll all take care of itself. Cocktails never tasted so good.

The Luminous Movement : In Pictures : 11/20/08

The Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae group returned to Harvelle's to throw down and make sure everyone had a goodtime. The packed house was crazy for the band, Higher, fronted by FreeWill, a singer/rapper from L.A. band Lumanaries, who opened the show.

The Toledo Show : Sunday Night Dynamite

This is the hottest ticket in town.

The man in charge - Toledo - describes it as "film noir soul on a svengali kiss".

It's loud, dark, funky, sexy, intense, non-stop and addictive!

And then there's The Dames - incredible beauties who dance around the stage, the floor, through the crowd, on top of the bar and sometimes off the walls!

Every Sunday night.

The weekend isn't over until Toledo says it is.
