Chali 2NA is the deep-voice of Jurassic 5 and one of hip-hop's most original. Tonight the House Of Vibe All-Stars will be playing and blowin' off the roof at Harvelle's. 

Business as usual for these guys. 

Their Wednesday night sets are legendary jam-fests; a blend full of reggae, rap, rock and jazz. Special guests always appear. Chali 2NA is with 'em live and in the house tonight.

Soul Funk Chronicles : Ladies Night

A Tuesday night just simply isn't without some Soul Funk, courtesy of Ryan Cross and his partners Gene Coye and Brandon Coleman. Tonight, feature Sarah Daye (above) sang an energetic set of rapturous torch elegies, and the band - being held down most of the night by Keith Eaddy (top pic) on bass (and guitar!) - hosted some guests including Shaunte aka Bone - trombone player in the House Of Vibe - and my fave jazz singer Ms. Hilary Van Lier (pictured).

Wednesday's House Of Vibe had a unique vibe of it's own. Brew with M.V.P. Derek on bass, guitarist Kris moved with awesome guitar leads, Pete completely tore it up on the skins, Greg on keys -solid and soulful, DJ spinning the wax while Deploi hip-hopped it up and around. Mike on xylophone kept it fresh and funky!!! Big-ups to Brew and the rest of the mighty all-stars for an awesome evening!!
