Rosie Ledet Shakes Things Up

Zydeco princess Rosie Ledet stopped in Santa Monica for a night of rockin and rollin and the crowd couldn't be more into it if we were in LA, instead of L.A.

Hotter than a plate of jumbalaya ravioli and just as delicious, Rosie and her squeezebox bounced the night into the stratosphere.

Yesterday I'd never even heard her name and now Rosie's rockin my world.

Terry Evans. Blues for the weekend

As the crowd dances away, it's obvious that they're primed for a 3 day weekend. Tonight, Terry's job is pretty easy. A pre-party of sorts, this is phase one of total west coast summer kickoff decompression.

On a holiday weekend, Santa Monica really looks and feels the way a beach town should. Yes the traffic is a little slower, and there's a little less real estate by the water for families from out of town to frolic in our local 80* weather.

But Harvelles is always the place for a cheap drink, a quick spin on the dance floor or simply a place to celebrate and challenge your own blue state of mind.

Terry Evans is ocean blues, and about the same temperature as the Pacific.
That's cool.
