The Luminous Movement : Freewheelin'
Freewill and co., aka The Luminous Movement, come to Harvelle's 4th St. blues joint tonight, Thursday. Justified and ancient as life itself, the freewheelin' Luminous Movement will chill-ax you into a sonic bluster of time and space. As funky as they are conscious, the live band known as Higher, provides the backbeat to the hip-hop soundtrack fronted by Freewill and his cast of rappers, musicians and singers.
Come early. Dig the vibe.

The Luminous Movement : In Pictures : 11/20/08
The Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae group returned to Harvelle's to throw down and make sure everyone had a goodtime. The packed house was crazy for the band, Higher, fronted by FreeWill, a singer/rapper from L.A. band Lumanaries, who opened the show.

Luminosity : Dedicated and Conscious
R&B, Reggae and Hip-Hop blend together nicely on a mix CD, but seeing a band throw it down live, seamlessly and with passion is a whole 'nother thang. The Luminous Movement return to Harvelle's Thursday, Nov 20 to delve deeper into their own unclassifiable genre. This encore performance will be a trip into their conscious positive vibe.
The evening's host, Freewill of Luminaries will lead his band through the smooth grooves from 10 til 2. DJ Dr FU will be spinnin the best of good vibrations. Check out my man Alexis on the skins! Come through and leave musically enlightened.
